Miss Gay Texas State at Large 2016

Looking back 10 years ago, one of the most unforgettable, joyful milestones in my life was being crowned Miss Gay Texas State at large 2016. That night was more than a crown. It was a dream realized, a moment of pride and a reflection of every ounce of love hard work and purpose I poured into my journey. It wasn’t just about the title. It was about what it represented, being able to stand in that spotlight and use my platform to uplift and serve the LGBTQIA plus community brought me so much joy. I met people whose stories had changed me. I was given the chance to inspire, to connect, to show others, especially those who felt unseen, that they matter that they are powerful, beautiful, and worthy of celebration. To this day, it remains one of the greatest accomplishments of my career, not just because of the crown, but because of the impact, and for that I will always be grateful.
